“Specificity of customs clearance during the import and export of art objects” The seminar of Association of Galleries and Creative Industries Agency

The seminar took place on the territory of the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art. Leading players of the Russian art market (gallery owners, representatives of logistics companies,lawyers) participated in the seminar.

During the seminar, the participants discussed the subtleties of Russian and international legislation in the field of import and export of art objects, and the problems that the art community is facing today in this matter. Also they talked about the attainment of “cultural property" status by the Ministry of Culture and its impact on customs formalities.
